I’m still emotional about the election results last week. It was an amazing experience, even though it was expected. I can’t explain the flood of emotions I felt when CNN projected Barack Obama as the President-Elect.
I was celebrating the results in a bar in downtown Seattle but I really wish I had been part of this spontaneous celebration in another part of Seattle.
That Seattle celebration pales in comparison to the kegger that would have ensued in Omak if McCain would have won.
Its a testament to how bad the Bush administration is for people to get this exuberant over an election. I feel somewhat sorry for Bush. I’m sure he’s a good guy trying to do the right thing, and he’s going to go down as one of the worst presidents this country has had. Just like Dirty Harry says, “A man’s GOT to know his limitations.”
