We finally launched our website on Friday. Dave and Pure Design Group did a great job. I also have to thank Angie for helping write the copy and moving this project along since I didn’t have the time.
Now I just need everyone I know to put links on their site to Denali Fitness. That way, maybe we can pass up Eugene’s site–which still comes up first in Google results for Denali Fitness.

Website Launched
Sunday, February 27th, 2005One month and counting
Wednesday, February 16th, 2005Yesterday was the one month anniversary for Denali Fitness. It feels like it’s been one long day–maybe that’s because I’m there just about every waking moment. I’m working my butt off but I have no regrets.
Just over 3 weeks
Sunday, February 6th, 2005So far, things seem to be running fairly well. I think I might be able to cut my hours back from 100 hours/week to a more reasonable 80 hours/week.
For the most part, customer feedback has been very positive–even after we had to cancel a popular yoga class at the last minute. Most members are happy that they still have a gym and are appreciative of the improvements. I wonder when the honeymoon will be over and it will be “what have you done for me lately?”
I’m enjoying my new career, even with the crazy hours I’ve been working. It’s also changed my perspective towards others that complain about their lives. I have less sympathy for those that are unhappy with their situations but aren’t doing anything about it. Carpe diam.
Promises from a Bush
Saturday, February 5th, 2005Bush has made a few statements regarding future performance of a privatised Social Security system. Could a mutual fund make the same statements without getting in trouble with the SEC?
